Are we WIFFING it again

Charro canceled our sesh for today because she's sick.  I'm okay with that.  She wants to reschedule for tomorrow, but my guess is that she won't be feeling any better, so I'm not counting on seeing her.  Tomorrow would be in the WIF office.  Woo hoo, she could WIF me again, and I know she would just because I'm there and the scale is there.  She says she doesn't "like being the police" but I think she secretly does.

I'm waiting for a client to call me back.  I got new glasses and I can't quite adjust to them.  Trying to get used to them while concussed probably doesn't help my head any either.

This morning was beautiful.  I was out in my yard, and now it's cloudy and getting cold.  I was hot with long sleeves and no jacket this morning.  It was a lovely Spring like day.

Lights out

Charro turned the light out by her for me today because it was bothering my eyes/head.  That's what happens when you hit your head again.  Ugh.  I told her I just wanted to close my eyes because it hurt, so she turned the light off.  My head doesn't hurt like headache hurts, but she knew how I felt because she had her first concussion about 6 months ago, so she gets it.

Here's a fun fact that Charro was really excited to tell me about.  She was sitting across from Molly Ringwald on the train.

Today I asked Charro how much I weighed on WIF, and not-surprisingly, she wouldn't tell me.  She wanted to know why I wanted to know.  I said, "Because I couldn't tell from your reaction, but I guess if I wasn't where I should be then you would have said something."

Bed time.

Breakfast burrito wrap

Charro's breakfast surprise wasn't anything scary at all.  It was a egg burrito wrap thingy.  The only thing scary was the wrap getting stuck in my teeth and me talking to people and not knowing it was in there.  Traumatic.  WIF was fine too.

I hadn't been to this office in a long time and it's a medical building with security at the front.  Well, I walk in the guard was like, "Hey, how are you?  It's been a while."  Ha.  Then I got up into Charro's section on the building and the secretary there said hello and said, "It's been a while."  I guess people recognized me.  They're nice people.

BRRRRR.  It's -1 degree out, and that's the actually temperature, not the temp with the windchill.  Looks like a Hallmark movie day for me.  I'm not leaving my apartment, unless I decide to venture out and walk the one block to go to the gym.  The good news is that it will be 55 degrees on Tuesday.

Back to frigid reality

Back to reality.  Vacation was good, weather was not, but it's a hell of a lot worse here and going to get colder, if that's even possible.  Hopefully after this weekend we will be done with the cold weather for the rest of the year.

Yay, next week I get to have WIF.  That was said with total sarcasm.  Charro had to switch up days so she asked me to go to her other office, the one with the scale, and was very thrilled to announce that we would be having WIF.  Oh how I've missed WIF...also said with sarcasm.  Not only do we get to have WIF, but she's bringing me breakfast, since I'm seeing her in the morning.  Double yay!  Actually, breakfast on WIF day will be perfect, so I'm fine with that.

I can't wait to go to bed, in about 10 minutes.  I'm so tired.  Got home late last night, after almost puking during the landing.  Not sure what that was about, but 30 seconds more in that descent and I would have been filling up that barf bag for the first time ever, and would have been mortified doing it.  There wasn't even any turbulence so I'm not sure what that was about.  Anyway, it all worked out.

I still have to unpack my suitcase, which will get done because I don't plan on leaving my apartment after I get back into it on Saturday afternoon.  I don't do 2 degrees well.

I was going to write more, but I just decided that I'm done with this because I really need to go to bed.
